Halo from my beautiful Efate

Halo dear famle blong mi we mi luvem tumas. Thank you for all of your love and all of your prayers.
This week has been wonderful.

Momma: I love you so very much! I am doing great. I got the package Christopher sent this week! I was giddy as soon as I opened it. I also got my valentine’s card from you and daddy. Thank you so much! My heart is always filled with happiness. Sista Papel is incredible. I love her so very much. She and I have been out the same time but she got here to Efate right before Christmas. She has been a member her whole life. She was about to finish her bachelor’s degree broadcast journalism but felt she needed to serve a mission with a semester of school left. She is amazing. She is 22 years old and she loves icecream and chocolate. Something we definently have in common is that we both love food and love talking. I just adore her.
We didn’t get a chance to see Florence this week. When we went to her house she wasn’t home. We are continuing to teach her because she wants to learn more about the commandments. Annie and James weren’t home yesterday 🙁 However, we are always praying for them. We will say hello to Mary and Toko but have stopped storying with them. Anna and Fina weren’t home. Thierry has been keeping the word of Wisdom!!!!!! Plus! Our goal was to find a friend to Thierry. HE invited a friend who was walking past to come story and he helped explain too! We also talked to one of the members in our ward, Vira, (different than the 3 brother vira) who is a return missionary. He’s going to come story with us sometime this week or the next. There is hope! We got to story with both Edna and Jimmy. Baby steps. They are learning little by little but that’s how the gospel works. The Bule famle is wonderful. They have been reading the Buk Blong Momon and papa Pierre has accepted the invitation to be baptized!!!!!!!!! Sane is wonderful. She expressed a great desire to change. However, she didn’t come to Jos yesterday so we’ll move her baptismal date. We gave her a Buk Blong Momon to give to her friend. She can do it! Lydia came to Jos!!!!! We made sure that the YW met Lydia and that she has friends at Jos. Her baptism is scheduled for this Saturday!!
That is so neat with the story about the missionaries. Food storage! Ha! I will pay specific attention to Matilda this week. Thank you for sharing your experience.
I love you so very much momma! I’m so excited for Camie and McKenna. They will be incredible missionaries.
I love you so very much momma! You are amazing and inspire me everyday.
Have a wonderful day. I love you !!!!!

Daddy: GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD Mooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorning Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuunshineeeeeeeee. I love you so very much. You bring so much peace to my soul. I’ll have to try that exercise of replacing the word with time. Step by step, enjoying the journey. You are brilliant. I love you so very much. Thank you for your constant encouragement and love.

1. We played a 5 step game where Pikinini would take a step if they got a question right in a lesson. It worked great! Davis is getting baptized this week.
2. WE had Mission leadership conference. So good. So fun!
3. Selina and the Bule Family have accepted teh invitation to be baptized.
I got to eat CAKE. One of the members is a baker and we got to have a slice of cake. Best present ever.
I love you all so very much.
Have an incredible week. You are always in my prayers. I love you!!!!
Love,
Sista Carter
