Halo from my beautiful island of Efate!!

Halo dear famle blong mi we mi luvem BIGwan! I love you all so very much. Thank you for your love and your prayers. This week it has been COLD. (72 degrees.) I wore a sweater teaching yesterday. Now it is Sunnny and beautiful as ever.

Momma: My dear beautiful momma. I love you so very much. Just seeing your email makes me smile. I am wonderful. Vanuatu is cold and then sunny. I am healthy! The tests came back and my Thyroid is normal, I didn’t have mumps, and everything looks good. I think it was just the lymph nodes. Thank you for your prayers. Momma I really loved missionary work this week. Sista Papel helps me realize little things I can change and different ways I can grow. I’m so grateful for her. Sane got baptized!! It was so beautiful and so special. I’ll write more details. I am so proud of Sane. The Bule Famle is good. We love them all. It’s going to take some time for them as a family to accept the gospel but I know one day that they will. Jimmy’s work schedule got changed so we haven’t been able to story with him. We did story with Edna and got to share the verse in Mosiah 18: 27 where it talks about hearts knit together in unity and love. Milton we will story with next week. We got to teach mama Esline about Prayer this week! Frazier is working on his mission papers! Natasha, Joanna, and Shem will all be taught next week. Shelly and Sang were out of town. Thierry is moving to New Zealand to work on the farms (a lot of people go from Vanuatu to NZ for about 6 months) We showed him the restoration video and he told us, not us telling him, but he told us, The difference between when Joseph Smith had a question and when he had a question was that Joseph Smith actually took the steps to ask and pray. That’s what he needed to do. It was a good way to finish storying with Thierry. I”ll forever be grateful for the experience of sharing the gospel with him.
I’m so proud of Grandma Kenna. This will be so exciting to have her in Logan! Midnight dinners are the best. That quote is so beautiful! Thank you for the quotes concerning the Buk Blong Momon. It really is the greatest book! I love you so very much momma. Thank you for all of your encouragement. You are amazing. I love you! Have a wonderful day.

Daddy: Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood Mooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorning daddy!!! Oh how I love you so very much!! You are brilliant (I love the line btw). Thank you for your advice and your love. You are wonderful!
Reading the PMG quote… (whoops. Chorus for On My Way… ). I love the gospel. There’s some things I feel inspired to change and improve. Especially this week it was to be BOLD. That’s my new goal for my island life as a missionary to be BOLD. I admire Grandma Kenna. She is such a strong woman of faith. I love you so much daddy! Thank you for taking the challenge to study the Buk Blong Momon withem mama. I know that this will bring great blessings to your lives. It always has and always will! I love you so much daddy! Have an amazing day.

I love you all so much!!
Love,
Sista Carter
