Halo dear famle blong me. Mi luvem yu tumas. Mi grateful tumas from algeta praer blong yufala. Mi feelem long said hart blong mifala. I love you all. I can’t express how grateful I am for each and every one of you. I feel your love. I feel your prayers.
Thank you for all of your words of encouragement and support. I love hearing from you.
My dear sweet momma: I love you so much. I am wonderful! How are you doing? Sune is slowly progressing. She works during jos (note from Roxy: jos = church) so we are doing our best to help her. Edna is doing wonderfully. She has such a grace that I love about her. She told us about how when she was cooking she saw her husband Jimmy reading the Bible and then reading the Buk Blong Momon. I learned he is the chief of the villiage Nabunga. Please continue to keep them in your prayers! I feel and know you love them. You are so strong! I’m so proud of you! I love the relationship you and daddy have. I treasure this blessing in my life, of having remarkable parents who raised me to trust God and love my family. You finished the Book of Mormon!!! I”m so happy for you!!! One of my goals for my mission is to read the Buk Blong Momon three times on my mission. Once every 6 months… I’m in 2 Nephi right now… you inspire me!
Momma, cherish the closeness of the temple. I miss it so much. Thank you for going to the temple and for staying true to everything you learn. In Vanuatu the church will help members go to the temple to go get sealed to their families. I pray that there is a temple built here one day. We teach about temples and I realize how lucky I am to have grown up RIGHT next to the temple. Momma. Your ideas are brilliant and inspired. Thank you so much!! I know that you listened to the small whisperings of the spirit while writing your email. I love you so much! I am so proud of you and so lucky to call you my momma. Have an amazing week! I love you!
Daddy! Hello!! I love you so very much. You are exactly right! The Holy Ghost is our constant companion! There is always whisperings. Hem i always tak tak long mi mo yufala. We just have to listen. You are brilliant. I love and will always love President Monson. I know he was a true prophet of God. I know this because I have felt the blessings in my life when I followed his council, especially in reading the Book of Mormon. I love that the spirit nudged you with the age change and thank goodness Papa God prepared a way for my heart to open to something that my human mind couldn’t imagine, serving a mission. It is challenging but I am so grateful for every moment. Daddy there’s the most beautiful tree with orange flowers on top, you singaot the name Christmas Tree. It is only in bloom december through February but it is magnificient. Also yesterday was fast sunday. After Jos we went to visit Edna. She had made us the best drink of fresh pineapple, Papaya, and Bananas. It was heaven. A tender mercy. Seriously. I don’t think I’ve ever broken my fast with something so refreshing before. I thought of you. I feel your prayers. I feel your love. Thank you for listening to the album! I’m so proud of the album. Sometimes when I exercise I”ll sing these songs. I’m grateful Papa God gave me the opportunity to do this and to grow my relationship with everyone, little by little, through the process.
This week I had a really neat experience. Sista Motuliki and I were sharing a story about the pioneers. I felt impressed to share the story about Martha Blackhum. It was so neat to feel the strength from my anscestors stories. If they can do challenging things. I can too. Please keep praying for everyone mentioned last week. Especially Cindy, Edna, Small John, Evelyn, Happy and Helen.
This week we had an exchange with the Beverly Hill’s sisters. I learned so much from them. AS we were walking there was a small hill along a fence. We followed the trail and a woman on the other side of the fence by the house told us to come around. We ran up the steep driveway, with CD’s hanging from the trees and storied small. It was just fun and adventurous!
One more moment I want to share was at Baptisms this week we were waiting for the Bishop to come. There was one woman, by the name of Rosemary. I thought she was a member. After talking to her for a moment I realized she was here to support her friend getting baptized and she wanted to learn more. She spoke English and I got to answer questions about being a missionary and got to testify of the Plan Blong Sevan Man! It was so amazing. I”m so grateful that Papa God gave me the opportunity to recognize and talk to Rosemary. It was special. My goal this week is to look for the people who aren’t recognized or don’t get as much as love as they deserve. It will be an adventure and I’m excited!
I love this gospel. I am so grateful for the Plan of Salvation and that I can be with my family forever. You all inspire me and I love you so much.
Have an amazing week! The ocean waves hello! (No pun intended!)
LOVE YOU
Love,
Sista Carter
