Dear famle blong mi we mi luvem tumas!!!
Momma: Oh how much I love you. Thank you for making my birthday so very special. It was one of the most amazing days. We celebrated by getting light up balloons and having a balloon war. We got to make brownies the next day and visit my family in Ohlen and hand out “chocolate cake” brownies to people. It was so wonderful! I even got to hold an iguana! It was the best day.
Today is a big day! I am in Efate for round 7 in Ohlen with Sista James Nila! (That’s right. I”m with my first companion back again.) Sista Papel is now in the Villiage with Sista Otukolo. I am so grateful for Sista Papel. She makes me so happy. I have looked forward to everyday because I know I get to spend it with her. I’m so excited to get to know Sista Nila more and learn so much from her.
The People in Vanuatu are wonderful. I love them so much. We didn’t get a chance to teach Angie this week but for sure this Saturday. We are also still teaching Mama Esline and her children (Julianna 21, Ramsvel 15 and Joanna 14). We will story with mama Esline again on Saturday since sunday hasn’t been working too well. We are helping Jessica continue coming to Jos and helping re-activate Lydia. Little miracles will happen.
Don’t you just love Audrey Hepburn?
Daddy: Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood Moooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am stilll the numbawan Princess of Efate! (Round 7 in Ohlen)
The trio of the eternities. I love that one.
Your thoughts are inspired by the spirit and are exactly what I need today. There was once one time when I bought a guitar and tuned it to what I thought was the correct tuning. Until I tried to play a duet with a Ukelele and realized I had tuned my guitar wrong! It’s the starting point and being willing to change through the journey. I now have an in tune guitar. I learned more from Sista Papel that I ever imagined and she was exactly who I needed. Sista James is exactly who I need right now. I am so grateful the Lord is in charge.
I love you so very much daddy! I hope you have a wonderful day.
Thank you for being you. I love you!
Letter to mission President Duquette..
This week has been a great week. So many little tender mercies. I am so grateful that I have gotten to be companions with Sista Papel for the last four transfers. I have learned so much from her. I’m so excited to learn from Sista Nila and work together. She is a wonderful sister. It’s been fun to see how much we’ve grown. (She was the sister that trained me when I first came to the mission).
On Sunday we got to story with one mama, mama Thelma. She told us that if Heavenly Father tells her to join the Church and tells her it is the right decision in her life she will take her, her man, and all of her children and grandchildren. She has been reading the Buk Blong Momon and has come to church once. Right now she goes to the Assembly of God church. She has been working as the tithes collector (I’m not sure the official name) for 13 years. She knows that if she joins The Church. She will be leaving everything behind. Everything will be new. She has the desire. We can see it in her eyes. We told her the only way that she will know that this is the truth is if she read the Buk Blong Momon and prays about it. We explained about pristhud athority and prophets. (She told us that she has been baptized twice. Once inside the Seventh Day Advantist jos and the Assembly of God church). She has great faith. I pray that she will have the desire to come closer to Christ.
P.S. Sista Papel and I made alfredo, vegetables, and chicken for dinner. It was so good. I’ve been planning on this meal for the last month. After we had brownies, icecream, and all things wonderful.
