Halo from my island of Efate!! (July 1, 2018)

Halo dear famle blong mi we mi luvem BIGwan! Olsem wanem? I just adore you all so very much and I am so grateful for all of your love and all of your prayers.

This week has been a great week! So many little miracles. It’s crazy it’s July!

Everyone is safe from the earthquake. I had just finished using the restroom when there was a little rumble and then the house started shaking. Sista Papel and I ran and hid undernieth our kitchen counters! After the shaking we just started laughing and then got instruction to make sure all of the sisters were safe. God protects his missionaries! Thank you for the rock messages. I love you!

We have a new mission President! We will hopefully meet him tomorrow. I’m so grateful that you enjoyed the buks and the message in the bottle.

I’m excited for the changes that are to come with the new mission President.

This week I realized through the spirit that I am here to act! I am here to help people and to share the gospel. The greatest message in the world. We also got to have Lap Lap from mama Thelma. (mayoke, and chicken, inside of Leaf lap lap) It’s under stone fire for about half a day. So good! I’m learning that people learn differently. It’s a gift to be able to learn and to grow. I”m grateful for the world cup. It has pushed us to talk to even more people and has made for some great and interesting conversations.
I love this gospel! I love you!

pictures: Mama Thelma and Laplap, District. (Funny district photo because Sista Papel and I are the only ones looking up) and my Vanuatu Sista’s and our Taitian dresses from a sista who served in Tahiti.

Love,
Sista Carter
