Halo from my rainy island of Efate! (September 30, 2018)

Oh dear famle blong mi we mi luvem tumas. Olsem wanem week blong yufala? Mi hope se hem i gud we i gud. I am so grateful for all of your love and your prayers. Thank you for all that you do for me and for my beautiful souls in Vanuatu. This week has been a wonderful week. It’s hard to believe that it’s October! Wow.

So much has happened this week.
I got my letters from home! Thank you for taking the effort to send me the emails and write little notes on the back. They make my whole life.
– We had an exchange with Sista Marava (blong PMG) and Sista Otukolo (From Salt Lake City)
We are lucky to have such incredible sisters in this mission.
– There was a ward baptism for one of the pikinini named Analyn, her mama is mama Ruth. Mama Ruth has one of the kindest most giving hearts I have ever met. She joined the jos about three years ago and is one of the most faithful members I have ever met.
– Last fala experience. When we were storying with Kitson and Iris yesterday about the Plan of Salvation you could see that it was some thing that chimed with their spirit and soul. Papa Kitson said that He knows what we were sharing and what they were feeling were helping them. He wanted to know the next step, what they needed to do. We invited them to follow the example of Jisas Kraes and be baptized. They accepted the invitation and still have a long road ahead of them, but now they have a goal. We helped them understand that to reach this goal (really the end goal, eternal life.) they need to take little steps, olsem ridim scripja, prea, and to come to Jos. They said that they would come next week and something tells me that they mean it. Please keep them in your prayers. I love them so much and know that God loves them.

The pikinini insisted that they carry umbrellas and at least walk us to the street through the pouring rain. It was the sweetest thing.
