Happy independence day to my country Vanuatu from my island of Efate!!

Halo beautiful famle we mi luvem tumas! I love you all so very much. Today marks 38 years of independence for Vanuatu. I love my little islands. I love the people here. This week has been a wonderful week. So much has happened!
We got to go on splits with some of the sisters serving in the New Caledonia region in our mission. They came for mission leadership council. It’s interesting being in the same mission but the work is very different. People are very humble here in my beautiful Vanuatu.

A little experience this week was storying with mama Esline (after 3 weeks). She talked about how she described as feeling guilty and realized that she needed to put more action to her faith. We got to explain about the beautiful concept of repentence and how it really is just turning our hearts to the Lord (thanks Bible dictionary.) and this is only possible through the Atonement of Jisas Kraes.

Another little experience. At MLC we talked about the worth of the soul and how the Savior ministered to people one by one. I love our mission President and his wife. I love the freshness that we feel in the mission.

Momma oh how I love you so very much! To answer questions. The abu of Brian came. She is a member and is wonderful. Her name is mama Salome. All of these children are from four different families. I am wonderufl. I did get to see I think the beginning lunar eclispse. That explains why the moon was extra exsquisite. I love you so very much! Reflective listening is coming slowly but surely.. Thank you for your encouragement! It soundsw like you had a such a wonderful week.

Daddy: Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood Moooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorning!!!!!!!!!!! Oh McDonals. Mac-cultural experiences
Sista Papel told me a joke the other day… why do sharks swim in salt wata? because they’d if they swill in pepper they will sneeze! I thought it was hilarious. Thought you’d enjoy it too.
Oh daddy your thoughts are brilliant. Everything really does testify of a supreme being. (Also thank you for thinking of me for the Lunar Eclipse just the thought makes me smile.)
Also on the hymn were any of the lyrics still there? It gives me an idea. I’ll share it with you later.

I love you so very much and hope you all have a wonderful week!
Thank you for your thoughts, encouragements, and prayers.
I love you!

Love,
Sista Carter
