Happy New Year from the Islands!!

Halo famle blong mi! Mi lovem yu tumas. Happy New Year! Every day I thank Papa God He let me come to this earth and come to the family that I did. I love you all so much. It was so wonderful to talk to you!!! I got to see your beautiful faces. A tender Mercy. I’m so grateful for all the little things that made talking to you possible. I realize that my mission is full of so many little moments. I get to discover them everyday and share them with you! I love you all. I miss you all. There isn’t a day that goes by where you don’t cross my mind. Your words “You can do this Kristina!” Ring through my mind and give me so much courage. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your love and all of your support.

Momma: You are such an angel. It was the greatest gift to be able to see your face. I’ll be honest. A mission is challenging. I’m learning right now how to focus on the moment. It’s difficult because sometimes I want time to fly and hug my beautiful family but I know that this is exactly where I need to be. There is someone God needs me to become and the only way through that is by his plan, which includes being here in this beautiful Vanuatu.

Ohlen is our new area! It’s a challenging area full of beautiful people. Please pray that we can find families to teach and help them come unto Christ. Ohlen looks like the pictures of the core of Vanuatu. Abu is an elderly person. I’m not exactly sure if there is a rule on the age… There are 12 sisters in our Efate Zone. They are incredible. As a Sister Training Leader we help the sisters with anything they need. We also help plan Zone Conference and sometimes host the sisters who are leaving and coming. It’s an adventure!

Please continue praying for all the poeple before hand. If you will add to your prayers.
– Sune: Come to church and pray about being baptized
– Annette: Come to Jos and strength to follow the gospel
– Edna: Come to church, pray about being Baptized
– Jimmy (Edna’s husband) feel the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Please also pray that we can come up with new ideas to help the people of Ohlen. They have seen so many missionaries before. Please pray we can be inspired and have strength to help all the woman and be able to talk to the men and woman prepared by Papa God.

Yay! Christmas at Disneyland!
I’m sending you all my kisses through the ocean air.
New Years! Vanuatu takes New Years quite seriously. You could here music booming through the streets, horns and kazoos, people laughing the entire evening. We were into our house by 6 and listened to everything while we ate some cookies and went to sleep. Quite exciting. We caught a glimpse of the stars. They were magnifacient.

Momma thank you for adding those entries from your journal. I treasure them. Reading your testimony and experience strengthens my experience too.

I love you so much! Have an amazing week!
Daddy: Fist bump! Fist bump! I love you so much! Thank you for giving some love to my guitar. You have such an eloquence with words. It was a tender mercy that I got to be able to see your face. I’m so grateful for you. Everything is in God’s timing. I will love these people.
Thank you for your wisdom and for your love. You are amazing. I’m so grateful for you.
(I looked at the ocean this morning and watched sail boats float by on the crystal blue before I emailed this morning. It was beautiful. )

A little treasuyre I gleaned this week was that everyone has a different life. God has an individual plan just for you. Sometimes missionaries go different places and have a different experieence than they expect. Everyone can’t have the same experience. It’s like ice cream. If everyone had vanilla ice cream no one would get to taste the joy of Aggie Blue Mint. I’m grateful for my aggie blue mint experiences! Kind of confusing but I hope that made sense…
I love you all!

I’ll send pictures next week!

Love you!

Love,
Sista Carter

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!
